Spiritual healing is more about being compatible, rather than belief or religion. The basis of Spiritual healers is the flow of energy that originates in the spirit and is passed to the person through a healer. The role of the healer is to convert spirit energy into physical energy, by causing a chemical change in an internal energy blockage.
The human body is made up of emotions, spirit, and the mind, and results in stress if any of these don’t work in unison with the others. The spiritual healer, the client, and the spirit all need to work together to re-establish a proper energy flow.
How Do Spiritual Healings Work?
Spiritual healing is derived from the Latin word “spiritus” which in English, means “Breath of Fire.” All spiritual healers have the same brainwave frequency during a healing session, which shows that a universal biological basis exists, for all types of healing abilities.
Healers can, without disrupting a body’s energy current, transmit healing energy.
“Laying of Hands” originated more than 15,000 years ago. During the Middle Ages, this was referred to as “the King’s Touch,” and was believed to destroy evil. The last British monarch who is believed to have had this divine ability was Queen Anne.
Spiritual healing focuses on the illness that happens when the energy flow in a person’s body is unbalanced. According to those in the know, when spiritual healing fixes the person’s energy flow, then he/she is cured automatically.
There are different types of spiritual healers, that offer a variety of different types of healing, each of which works differently to heal clients. The five main types of spiritual healing include:
Pranic healing – a therapy that uses the body’s life force to heal the energy of the body. It works on the energy or aura of the body specifically and uses the energy to eliminate toxins from the body and helps to speed up the physical healing procedure.
Reiki healing – “Reiki” is derived from two Japanese words, namely “Rei” – God’s wisdom, and “Ki” – energy. Traditional medicines are used in conjunction with this therapy to cure a person’s illness. In Reiki therapy, the “ki” or energy, is used to help people. It involves plenty of hand technique movements, and precise symbols are used with which to channel the energy of the universe to heal a person’s body. Reiki is also said to be a helpful aid to curing flu, cold, as well as stomach- and headaches. It is somewhat effective too, in improving more serious illnesses such as heart disease. Quantum healing – the principle of resonance and therapy forms the basis of this therapy. With Quantum healing, breathing and the visualisation of energy flow cause the energy levels in the body to increase. It is not simply a spiritual therapy but is also used to direct positive effects on the body’s immune system.
Qigong healing – this form of therapy helps to the lost balance in the body. Qigong has been used for about 4,000 years and is made up of synchronised movements of the body, together with meditation and breathing, to stimulate spirituality and health. It has been used as a medicine in China since ancient times, and it believed to maintain the balance of positive energy in the body in order to stay healthy.
Crystal healing – crystals and stones are used for this healing procedure to eliminate impurities from a person’s body. These crystals and stones do different work in the body and a range of different types of emotional, spiritual, and physical issues. They act as repellents, by ridding the body of negative energies, which is disruptive toward the body’s physical and mental well-being. Learn more about crystal healing
What Happens During A Healing Process?
During a healing session, the healer will place his/her hands on or off the person’s body. The healer uses his/her hands as instruments with which to “feel” the person, and direct the flow of energy, which can result in the healer’s hands becoming either warm or hot during the procedure. The client might also feel the energy in specific areas of the body.
The healing process can last for around 30 minutes, with a follow-up visit normally being recommended to evaluate the person’s recovery progress. Spiritual healers can also perform the healing process when they are not in the presence of the client.
In conclusion
Contrary to what some people believe, spiritual healing does not interfere with any medical treatment that the client might be involved in at the time. It is simply a complementary aid to the person’s recovery process. According to the experts, it is best if the client does not wear black clothing to these healing sessions, because it might cause the energy flow to be somewhat vague.
